The Over-Easy Fuzz is a repro of the rare and expensive Ampeg Scrambler, best known for it's use by the group, Cactus. One of it's best features was the Texture control which gradually set the amount of octave-up in the fuzz from regular fuzz to full-blown octave madness, while the Blend control mixes in clean signal with the octave fuzz for a variety of sounds. The added volume control lets you control the volume, of course. A boost circuit has also been added to the output to increase the volume.
SOUND SAMPLES OF THE OVER-EASY FUZZ This is a sample of the Over-Easy Fuzz used on an Epiphone Les Paul with Seymour Duncan Classic '59 pickups. First, it's played with the TEXTURE all the way counter-clockwise for a simple, fuzz effect. Next, the TEXTURE control is turned all the way up for the octave-up effect. You can blend it anywhere in between. Click
