One of RonSound's earliest products was the BluesFrenzy, a Dallas Rangemaster clone that was also offered with a Tone control as the BluesFrenzy Deluxe. Due to the huge number of Rangemaster clones that eventually became available at the time, the BluesFrenzy was dropped from the line only to have the Deluxe version resurface later as the limited production LockhartFX Tone Wizard for my friend, Greg Lockhart. After a run of 20+ units, that was also discontinued.
I still get requests for the Tone Wizard so I've decided to add it back to the line. It's still made the same as always with the standard true-bypass switching, LED indicator, and external power jack but now it's loaded with a hand-selected and screened vintage RCA 2N408 germanium transistor.
Germanium goodness that pushes your amp into overdrive with a tone control that takes you from well-rounded bottom end to the crispy attack of the Rangemaster.
