My repair charges are as follows:
Bench charge: $50
Plus charge for parts over $5
Plus return shipping as desired.
Please use the CONTACT US page to check before sending your item in for repair.
In the 10 years or so I've been fixing pedals, I've seen a lot. I've repaired pedals by EH (my specialty), Ibanez, BOSS, DOD, Mutron, Colorsound, Mosrite, Guild, Maestro, and many others. The standard $50 charge covers the repair and most parts but delay ICs in vintage fx can cost an additional $50 or more. Shipping is the actual cost with insurance (if desired) and is usually rounded up to the next dollar. No packing or handling charges! Please note that due to the increasing popularity of RonSound effects I no longer have as much time to devote to repairs and usually I can only get to them on weekends. It may take 2 weeks or more to get to your item, depending on current repair backlog and your pedal. There may also be times where you will have your unit repaired in a day or 2 of receiving it. Be prepared to wait at least a month for your repair to be finished.
Please follow these steps before sending an item for repair:
1) Email and request the REPAIR FORM (PDF format). Please include any and all details about the problem you are having with the effect. 2) Visit the Shipping and Returns page to determine where you will ship your products and by which method.
3) Securely pack your pedals with a copy of the Repair Form in the box.
4) Ship your package as determined in Step 2
Items received without a Repair Form will not be repaired until a Repair Form is received. I thought about adding a service charge but this should be sufficient. Keep in mind I get a lot of emails about repairs and I cannot be expected to remember what your pedal required. The form will contain your contact info and preferred return shipping method.
If you have any questions, email me.
